Restavracija Harfa

  • MICHELIN GUIDE 2023

Plucking the strings of business

A modern business restaurant excites with first-class cuisine.

Not far from the strict centre of Ljubljana, on the ground floor of a glass business complex in the Murgle neighbourhood, accidental guests don’t usually frequent Harfa. But the place is always full of them nevertheless. Guests regularly returning to Harfa know that good food is served here.

In line with the business world, designer furniture perfected to the last detail can be found in Harfa, which still provides just the right ambience for relaxed dining. Interior elements reminiscent of strings also contributed to the choice of the name.

Harfa swears by daily fresh ingredients that are composed into harmonious flavours by an orchestra of nine staff members led by the owner and chef Boštjan Pavli,

who is happiest in his own kitchen. He’s occupied with arrangement and presentation. Plates are fully perfected and above all beautiful. Dishes are nicely rounded by flavours and offer exactly what they promise.

Since the kitchen is not very big, there’s no room for large freezers and storage facilities. But these are not needed since all ingredients are ordered on a daily basis and seasonal. Final products are cooked, baked, roasted, kneaded or prepared in another special way.

Harfa also gained a large following due to their excellent desserts. If you can’t decide on one, order a trio of desserts.

Sea and continental flavours, fresh and seasonal. Urban and Ljubljana

On the menu are exquisite business lunches, à la carte and multi-course dishes.

Their vegan menu is interesting since such fine offer is scarce in the wider surrounding area.

Ask the friendly staff about the daily specials, which change according to the ingredients available.

Harfa is open on weekdays only until late afternoon.
