Debeluh × Istenič × NEUBAR: The Posavje region takes centre stage in Ljubljana

For one evening, the Posavje region will be coming to Ljubljana. Ošterija Debeluh from Brežice, a family-run restaurant led by chef and sommelier Jure Tomič, will be serving up its contemporary take on local flavours.

Their cuisine draws on tradition, local ingredients and the flavours of their home region, which Tomič presents in his own unique way. Istenič will continue this story with wines from the same region, placing particular emphasis on ‘rumen plavec’, a grape variety closely associated with the Bizeljsko-Sremič wine-growing area. The evening will thus bring together two stories from the Posavje region – the cuisine of Ošterija Debeluh and the winemaking tradition of Istenič – and present them in a contemporary interpretation in the heart of Ljubljana, with the event accompanied by music from Posavje musicians.
