St. Martin’s Day in Šmartno ob Paki has been celebrated since 1990, marking the transformation of must into wine. The festival features traditional customs, red cabbage, wine tasting, and a varied programme for all generations. Highlights include Martin’s Baptism of Wine, an art colony, the selection of the wine cellar steward, a professional winegrowers’ meeting, hiking, and a folk music evening.
